Escape Surfboards is a small team dedicated to all surf sports.  We shape all forms of surf craft, and are actively involved with most surf sports including surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, and stand up paddle boarding.

We don’t believe that being a good shaper means you only shape one style of board,   all our surf sports benefit from each other, whether it’s by way of the construction system, or the fin position we learn loads every time we take to the water. 

We shape custom surfboards, custom kite boards, custom stand up paddle boards, and custom windsurfers to either your own design or you can benefit from our many years of experience and let us shape the made to measure surf board that will best suit your personal requirements.

      

We can make your custom board using a variety of construction methods: Polyester/Polyurethane, Epoxy/IXPS, Epoxy/sandwich, and Bio tech to name but four.  Over the past 25 years Bill and Alex have shaped thousands of boards and are constantly working on improving the performance of all the range from the smallest grom’s thrusters to 14’ race Stand up Paddle board.  We have surfed, paddled, or sailed many different boards.  It’s such hard work! When ordering a custom board you have complete control over the graphic design sprayed onto the board.  You can also have the board dedicated with your name.

These prices are for boards made to your measurements, and specifications, we use Homeblown
Polyurathane blanks Silmar polyester resin, Rea epoxy resin, Porche glass, and FCS fin systems
Board prices include FSC fins on all boards, or single fin box on Retro style boards,  single fin box
and side fins on boards over 9’0".  These prices include VAT but not delivery.
Colour’ is normally 3 colour and of simple design for more complex graphics, please ask for a quote
