7'3 Shape & Design
The Brother 7'3 retains the extended egg outline, with the wide point set slightly forward of centre to keep volume and surface area under the chest. This results in efficient paddling and smooth wave entry, without the bulk of a longer midlength. The slightly narrower nose helps with duck diving and threading through broken sections, especially useful in more active or crowded line-ups.
A moderate rocker profile, paired with a rolled V through the nose, allows the 7'3 to glide easily into waves while maintaining control once on rail. This size feels particularly well balanced, offering forgiveness without sacrificing responsiveness.

This particular 7’3 Brother was hand-shaped by Bill from a Polyola polyurethane blank, then glassed and sanded during the Christmas holiday. It features deep double Booster twin concaves between the side bites and the centre fin box. These Booster concaves add lift and drive through the tail, helping the board plane earlier, increase overall speed, and improve control. The increased water pressure through the fins also enhances hold when committing to deeper, more powerful turns.
